Established in the summer of 1956 as a one-man operation owned by Robert H. Bauer, the Bauer Group Agency, LTD has grown to one of the premier insurance agencies in Northern Illinois. From our modest office in downtown Stockton, we serve the needs of our customers in a multi-state area. Bauer Group Agency, LTD came under new owners in the summer of 2001. The new owners are Jim Arnold, Jay Bauer, Tim Timpe, and Michael “Woody” Woodward. The new owners changed the name of the agency to it’s current name: BAUER GROUP AGENCY LTD. In Jan. 2004 The Bauer Group Agency LTD merged with: Mc Coy Insurance Servies Inc. Located in Galena & Elizabeth, IL.
